About UsCredit Advising & Disputes
Credit advising involves analyzing your credit reports, identifying potential errors or areas for improvement, and providing guidance on dispute strategies under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We educate clients on their rights and help them understand the dispute process.
Credit Advising ServicesNo. We cannot guarantee any specific credit score outcome. Credit scoring is controlled by credit bureaus and scoring models we do not control. Our role is to educate you on legitimate dispute methods and help you understand factors that may affect your credit.
By law, credit bureaus have 30-45 days to investigate disputes. However, the full process may take 3-6 months or longer depending on the complexity of issues, number of items disputed, and bureau response times. Results vary by individual situation.
You will need copies of your credit reports from all three major bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion), recent account statements for disputed items, and any correspondence with creditors. We recommend obtaining reports through AnnualCreditReport.com.
Dispute Process GuideNo. We do not report to credit bureaus. We guide you through the process of disputing inaccurate information with bureaus and creditors. Only data furnishers (lenders, creditors) report to bureaus.
Credit advising is educational guidance about your rights under consumer protection laws and strategies for addressing inaccuracies. We help you understand the process rather than performing repairs for you. You remain in control of your own disputes.
Yes. We provide guidance on the steps to dispute fraudulent accounts, place fraud alerts, implement credit freezes, and document identity theft with the FTC. We help you understand your rights under the FCRA and state laws.
Consumer RightsBusiness Funding
We provide guidance on SBA loans, conventional business loans, lines of credit, equipment financing, invoice factoring, and alternative funding options. We help you understand requirements and prepare documentation.
Business Funding ServicesNo. Lending decisions are made by lenders, not by us. We help you understand lender requirements, strengthen your application, and identify potential funding sources, but approval depends entirely on the lender's evaluation.
Requirements vary by lender and loan type. SBA loans typically require 650+ personal credit scores. Alternative lenders may work with lower scores. Business credit, revenue, and time in business are also significant factors.
Factors Affecting ApprovalTimeline varies significantly. SBA loans may take 60-90 days. Alternative funding can close in 1-2 weeks. The timeline depends on loan type, documentation readiness, and lender requirements.
Common requirements include business and personal tax returns (2-3 years), bank statements (3-12 months), profit and loss statements, balance sheets, business licenses, and articles of incorporation. Requirements vary by lender.
Document ChecklistWe charge consulting fees for our advisory services. These are separate from any lender fees or interest rates. All fees are disclosed upfront before engagement. We do not receive hidden commissions from lenders.

No. The IRS makes all decisions regarding offers in compromise and other settlement options. We help you understand qualification criteria and prepare documentation, but acceptance is solely at IRS discretion.
Government Contracting
Key first steps include registering in SAM.gov, obtaining a DUNS/UEI number, identifying your NAICS codes, and researching contract opportunities. We guide you through the registration process and help you understand the contracting landscape.
Government Contracting ServicesCommon certifications include 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB (Women-Owned Small Business), SDVOSB (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned), and DBE. Each has specific eligibility requirements and can provide competitive advantages for certain contract set-asides.
Contracting GuideTimelines vary widely. New contractors should expect 6-24 months to win their first contract. Building past performance, relationships, and understanding the procurement process takes time. Subcontracting is often a good first step.
No. Contract awards are determined by government contracting officers based on their evaluation criteria. We help you become more competitive, but winning is never guaranteed.
Debt Consolidation
Debt consolidation combines multiple debts into a single payment, potentially with a lower interest rate. Options include personal loans, balance transfer cards, home equity loans, and debt management programs. The best option depends on your specific situation.
Debt Consolidation ServicesIt depends on the method. A new loan may temporarily lower scores due to the hard inquiry. However, reducing credit utilization and on-time payments can improve credit over time. Debt settlement has more significant negative impacts.
No. Debt consolidation combines debts into one payment while paying the full amount owed. Debt settlement involves negotiating to pay less than owed, which can have more severe credit consequences and potential tax implications.
